Mackian Bauman (Luke) is delighted to be making his Shout Alone Theater Company debut with THE TRIBE. He cannot express how much he has enjoyed working on this challenging project with such a talented group of actors. Currently, he is in his fourth year at New York University pursing a BFA in Theatre. He has appeared in multiple productions such as Trojan Women 2.0, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Unity. He would like to thank his amazing cast and inspiring production team, the Meisner Studio, Mike, and his incredibly supportive family.
Haleyna Kociuk (Allison) is a junior at New York University, pursuing a B.F.A. in Drama. Haleyna is very excited to be a part of her first show with Shout Alone Theater Company. She has studied the Meisner technique under Vicki Hart and Karen Chamberlain at The Meisner Studio at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Recent credits include: Marlene in The Meisner Studio’s production of Top Girls directed by Gigi Buffington, as well as the Lady in the summer production of Will Eno’s Oh, the Humanity! directed by Fritz Ertl.
Fiona Robberson (Mitch, Co-Writer) is thrilled to be part of her second Shout Alone production, having just played Wynnie in the company's inaugural production of Only A Paper Moon, which premiered at FringeNYC this summer. Recent credits include Shakespeare Dallas' summer 2015 production of Romeo and Juliet (Juliet, dir. Rene Moreno), the American premiere of Lars Von Trier’s Dogville (dir. Robert O’Hara), Trojan Women: A Love Story (NYU Meisner Studio), Timon of Athens (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (NYU GAP), and Easter (Undermain Theatre). She is currently a senior at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, having studied at The Meisner Studio and Stonestreet Studios, and a graduate of Shakespeare in Performance at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. Fiona is a 2011 recipient of the Dallas Fort Worth Theater Critics Forum Award, and has acted professionally at Dallas Theater Center, Kitchen Dog Theater, Undermain Theater, and Shakespeare Dallas. She is the Co-Artistic Director of Shout Alone Theater Company and is incredibly honored to have co-written this fascinating and important piece.
Danny Zuhlke (Benny) is a Manhattan-based artist graduating this December from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Drama and a minor in Politics. He completed training at the Meisner Studio, Experimental Theatre Wing, and Stonestreet Studios. This is Danny’s second production with Shout Alone Theatre Company, recently premiering the role of “Christopher” in Only a Paper Moon at the New York International Fringe Festival this past summer. Other recent acting credits include: Dogville (Ben) directed by Robert O’Hara at NYU Tisch Drama Stageworks, Trojan Women: A Love Story (Bill / Jim) directed by Vicki Hart at the Meisner Studio, and A Respectable Wedding / Driving Out the Devil (Young Man / Lad) directed by Fritz Ertl at the Meisner Summer Intensive. Danny is currently completing Advanced Training at Stonestreet Studios, and plans to attend Stonestreet LA in January post-graduation.
Megan Vaccaro (Kaila) is a recent BFA Acting graduate at NYU Tisch's Stella Adler Studio. She is so pleased to have the opportunity to work with Shout Alone on this perfectly challenging play, and she is very excited to share this experience with you. Her recent performances include: Open Blue Sky , world premiere directed by Caroline Wood, and Timon of Athens directed by Jeremy Stockwell at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Currently Megan is training to become a 200 hr Yoga Instructor, so look out for private and open classes with her, and in the mean time: sit back, take some nice deep breaths, and enjoy these sacred moments with THE TRIBE.

Maddie Hill (Co-Writer, Co-Director) is a senior at NYU, pursuing a B.F.A. in Drama. She has studied the Meisner technique under Vicki Hart at NYU’s The Meisner Studio, playwriting in London under Roy Kendall, and directing at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. Her playwriting has been staged in London at the Jermyn Street Theatre, New York City, Mexico, and Texas, as well as recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Most recently, her play Only a Paper Moon made its world premiere with Shout Alone Theater Company at the New York International Fringe Festival. Her prose has been published in FORTH Magazine and the Mercer Street textbook. Recent acting credits include: Trojan Women: A Love Story, Picnic, and Playwright’s Horizons Theatre School’s production of Clockwork. She is Co-Artistic Director of Shout Alone Theater Company.
Lucas Olscamp (Set, Sound, and Costume Design) is delighted to be making his design debut with Shout Alone Theater Company. He has worked both onstage and off in several international productions including Organs, Tissues and Candy Games with Theater Zoukak, M.D. or the Whale with Witness Relocation Theater Company, and Sense and Sensibility, Our Town, and Travels With My Aunt at the Watermark Theatre Company. He has also worked with Maxbell Theatre Company at their Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2013 with The Gypsybird Speaks and has assisted on several short film shoots as both a sound designer and art assistant. Lucas graduated from Lester B. Pearson United World College with his International Baccalaureate and is currently pursuing his B.A. at New York University Abu Dhabi. Dominic Russo (Fight Choreographer) is very proud of this company and grateful to be a part of the process. Previous fight work includes a Shakespearean comedy, a Shakespearean problem play, and a show about the Columbine Killers. Award winning actor, proud member of Cue for Passion Theatre Collective and No Stone Theatre Company. Writing credits include full length plays Kill Tom Hanks and Less Men Please, as well as several video shorts. Assistant Director of Love, Sex, and Death in the Amazon which premiered at The Paradise Factory in October. Thanks to Maddie and Jit, my family, my other family at 61, and to Mia Bella. I am flying with you every day.
Laura Johanna Waltje (Stage Manager) is thrilled to work with Shout Alone as their stage manager for The Tribe. She started stage managing by accident in high school and never quit. Other recent projects include FEMME (sound design), Reclamation (light and sound design), Organs, Tissues, and Candy Games, Zoukak's wholly reimagined adaptation of Frankenstein (actor and sound design), and The Farewell Experiment (stage management). Laura is currently working on her BA in Theater and Literature from NYU Abu Dhabi.
Tung Jit Yang (Co-Director, Lighting Design) is finishing his BFA in Drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and will be spending his last semester focusing on directing at Playwrights Horizon's. He has also designed lights for Shout Alone's production of Only A Paper Moon at FringeNYC and for the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center in Malaysia. His KL lighting design credits include Steve Yockey's Cartoon (dir. Kelvin Wong) in which he won the Boh Cameronian Award, Malaysia's only theatre award, for best lighting. He has also designed lights for several Cantonese Opera shows in Kuala Lumpur.
