CAST

Odera Adimorah (Chorus, Firm) is originally from Nigeria. He began his acting training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Favorite credits include: Habeas Corpus, Pride and Prejudice, Pygmalion, and Othello. Odera is thrilled to be part of such a wonderful production and would like to thank Shout Alone Theater Company for the opportunity.

Mackian Bauman (Chorus, The Oracle) is delighted to be a part of his second Shout Alone production, having recently played Luke in Shout Alone's THE TRIBE. Recent credits include the American stage premiere of Lars Von Trier's Dogville (dir. Robert O'Hara), Charles Mee's Trojan Women: A Love Story (dir. Victoria Hart), and Unity:1918 (dir. Gigi Buffington). Mackian will graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Drama in May, having studied at Stonestreet Studios and under Victoria Hart at the Meisner Studio. He would like to thank his family for their amazing support.

Tina Canady (Chorus, Hush) is beyond thrilled to be making her Shout Alone Theater Company debut in Chasing Light. She is currently a junior pursuing a BFA in Drama at New York University. After two years of primary training at the Meisner Studio, she moved to the Experimental Theater Wing. Recent credits include: The King Stag (NYU’s Commedia dell’arte Program), The Fever (600 HIGHWAYMEN), Joe Turner’s Come and Gone (NYU Graduate Acting), and Games (dir. Benny Sato Ambush). Tina is also very excited to be attending the International Theater Workshop (ITW) in Amsterdam this summer! She would like to thank her amazing cast and inspiring production team for making this beautiful show, her friends for never failing to put a smile on her face, and her incredibly supportive and loving family.

Phoebe Dunn (Chorus, Other Mother) is a New York based actor and poet. Theatre credits include The Alving Estate (Helene Alving), The Incredible Fox Sisters at The New Ohio Theatre (Leah Fox), Beyond the Machine 2015: Cubicle (Performer/Creator), Macbeth Shakespeare at the Manor (Lady Macbeth), My Life Among The Serial Killers with The Viewpoints Collective (Dr. Helen Morrison), and a developmental workshop of The Bad Years (Eve). Film credits include False Positive directed by Daniella Pantoliano (Emma) and Como, What? Written by Alet Taylor (Glinis). Sean Jenny (Chorus, Skinny) is an actor/director/playwright based in New York. Recent roles include: Ernst in Spring’s Awakening (Times Square Arts Center), Paul in a staged reading of The Cobbler and the Vagabond (The Actor’s Studio), Envy in the short film Dark Beyond the Blue (New York Film Academy). Sean also directed his own one-act play Look Alive Starshine at last year’s Midwinter Madness Short Play Festival. Sean has trained at Marymount Manhattan College, The Barrow Group, and The Actor’s Lab.

Roxy Knepp (Chorus, Quake) is honored to make her New York City debut in Chasing Light after graduating with honors from Ohio State University in December. Roxy's recent credits include Deputy in The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Emily in Our Town. She originated the role of Theora Hix in the Pulitzer Prize nominated play Somewhere I Can Scream. Roxy has written and co-written many pieces, including The Detox Game, Lita in Holly-York, and The Figaro Project. She also runs a funny Youtube channel called Roxy AKA Drakes Wife. Roxy is thankful for all the wonderful opportunities that the Big Apple has to offer.

Ashil Lee (Freckles) is proud to be working with Shout Alone and the Chasing Light team on the creation of this exciting new play. Ashil has trained at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts at the Meisner Studio, Commedia dell'arte in Florence and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She has taught at The 52nd Street Project and Lexington Children's Theatre. Outside acting, Ashil has done design work for Cue for Passion Collaborative, Independent Projects in the Experimental Theatre Wing, and Shout Alone's production of Only a Paper Moon.
CREATIVE
Maddie Hill (Playwright) is a playwright, director, and actor based in New York City. Her playwriting has been staged in London at the Jermyn Street Theatre, New York City, Mexico, and Texas, as well as recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Her play Only a Paper Moon made its world premiere with Shout Alone at the New York International Fringe Festival. She Co-Wrote THE TRIBE, which had a workshop production in November with Shout Alone. Her prose has been published in FORTH Magazine and the Mercer Street textbook. Recent acting credits include: Trojan Women: A Love Story, Picnic, and Playwright’s Horizons Theatre School’s production of Clockwork. She is a recent graduate of the B.F.A. Acting program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, having studied acting at the Meisner Studio, playwriting in London under Roy Kendall, and directing at Playwrights Horizon's Theater School. She is Co-Artistic Director of Shout Alone Theater Company.
Lucas Olscamp (Costume Design) is delighted to be working on his second production with Shout Alone Theater Company. He has worked both onstage and off in several international productions including Organs, Tissues and Candy Games with Theater Zoukak, M.D. or the Whale with Witness Relocation Theater Company, and Sense and Sensibility, Our Town, and Travels With My Aunt at the Watermark Theatre Company. He has also worked with Maxbell Theatre Company at their Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2013 with The Gypsybird Speaksand has assisted on several short film shoots as both a sound designer and art assistant. Lucas graduated from Lester B. Pearson United World College with his International Baccalaureate and is currently pursuing his B.A. at New York University Abu Dhabi. Xinan Ran (Scenic Design) is a junior studying Drawing (BFA) at Pratt Institute. Her interests in social change and multimedia art bring her to the theater. As a WIT team member in the All Stars Project, she has since assisted the stage design for Castillo Theater’s Still On The Corner and Votes. She is a proud graduate of Lester B. Fiona Robberson (Sound Design, Stage Manager, Producer) is Co-Artistic Director of Shout Alone Theater Company, and a December 2015 graduate of the BFA Acting program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Recent acting credits include Agave in The Bacchae at La MaMa ETC (dir. Mark Greenfield, Faux-Real Theater Company), Only A Paper Moon (FringeNYC), Shakespeare Dallas' Romeo and Juliet (Juliet, dir. Rene Moreno), the U.S. premiere of Dogville (dir. Robert O’Hara), Trojan Women: A Love Story (dir. Vicki Hart), Unity: 1918 (dir. Gigi Buffington), and Easter (Undermain Theatre). She is a graduate of the B.F.A. Tung Jit Yang (Director) has just finished his BFA in Drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and spent his last semester focusing on directing at Playwrights Horizon's. He has also designed lights for Shout Alone's production of Only A Paper Moon at FringeNYC and for the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center in Malaysia. His KL lighting design credits include Steve Yockey's Cartoon (dir. Kelvin Wong) in which he won the Boh Cameronian Award, Malaysia's only theatre award, for best lighting. He has also designed lights for several Cantonese Opera shows in Kuala Lumpur.
Dylan Arredondo (Producer) is a third-year student at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where he will graduate with a Drama major, minors in Psychology and Entertainment Business, and an Honors Certificate in Theatre Studies. While at NYU, he has studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York, the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. During his collegiate performance career, he has acted in twenty-two productions, five short films, fourteen readings, and has served on crews for four productions. Additionally, he is a proud company member of Shakespeare in the Square and Cue for Passion Collaborative. He is honored to join the phenomenal Shout Alone creative team this spring as producer of Chasing Light, the Curated Art Series, and their Inaugural Gala.
